If you use WinXP I could understand your intention, to do something like that, as the Explorer lacks several features to make your life as archivist easier. Thats why apps like ACDSee, Irfan View, FSViewer a.s.o. However, since Win7 (partly this was already possible in earlier versions, too) you can place all those infos via Explorer directly. Explorer will detect the picture type and will offer you lots of editable fields in the lower part of the Explorer window. Simply raise the splitter to offer more space for additional fields to be displayed. On the other hand, using VFP9 and writing code via @ say to create a form and handling pictures, well.

It is not the best idea to do it that way. You should definetely make an approach to learn the use of form objects and to create you app in the visual designer. Its much easier than handling 'say' commands. And as the VFP community is one of the most helpful communities ever, you will get all the help that you need to learn how this can be done.
