Egyptian Ak 47 Serial Numbers
Does anyone here have any idea what the build quality of these Egyptian built AK's are like? There's one for sale locally (private sale) for $550. The one and only AK I've owned was a WASR 10 that was a POS that I dumped pretty quickly. If you didn't get the mag lined up just right when loading it would jam hard and was a real bitch to get out.

This can easily be done using a VPN that stops your internet provider from being able to see what you are accessing online. Install sports donkey. It also removes any blocks put in place by your internet provider.
AK ammo prices are starting to come down around here so I'm thinking about grabbing another one but I dont want another dog but I can swing a Fuller either. How do the Maadi's compare to the WASR's? Not all Maadi AK's were created equal. Some, the early pre-ban Steyr imports, are prized by collectors and as close to a real Russian AK as you're likey to find. If that's what you're looking at, it is worth three times the asking price. Others, which might be marked something like ARM, are usually good quality reliable rifles.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think all of these ARM rifles were or post-ban with thumbhole stocks and smooth muzzles. Finally, there are some Maadi MISR rifles out there that are a motley mismatch of parts. Some were imported as single-stack guns and had the mag wells modified like the wasr-10.
